Over the summer Elvery’s installed 2 Gait Analysis Systems in their shop in Suffolk Street as well as 2 in Blanchardstown. You can go and get a ‘prescription’ pair of runners. They will get you to walk and run in your bare feet on a treadmill while the camera records you. From there the staff will be able to advise on the best pair of runners specifically for your feet. They have recently just opened up a store in Dundrum Shopping Centre and installed 2 more Gait Analysis systems. Get down there and check it out!!

Congratulations to Crokes who fought back against Rhode of Offaly to win the Leinster Championship at Parnell Park. Rhode lead 1-6 to 3 points at half time but two second half goals made sure Kilmacud Crokes became Leinster Champions. I am sure the management team will be busy analysing for the next round. Just want to let people know that there is a site out there called www.thevideoanalyst.com , although it is still in development it will give you some information on how to get started in match analysis. There are also a couple of interviews with the like of Jamie Hamilton, formely of the Leicester Tigers now with the Canterbury Crusaders and Richie Ford the Louth Senior Video Analyst. Over the weekend we launched our new Handheld Stats Collector - EasyTag - at the GAA National Coaching Conference. We got a great reaction to it by all coaches. It was great to get such positive feedback to the product on it’s first outing. We have purposely kept the device as simple as possible to start with. It is really an attempt to replace pen and paper at the side of the pitch.
